Privacy policy

In short: this site does not track you. It uses no tracking cookies and no audience measurement tools. The only information collected is what you choose to send to describe your decision, and it is treated confidentially.

Accountability

Michel Ross, RD‑PREP, is responsible for the personal information collected through this site. For any question: contact@rd-prep.ca.

This policy reflects the requirements of the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), which governs commercial activities in New Brunswick.

Information collected

When you fill out the form or write to RD‑PREP, RD‑PREP receives the information you provide: your name, your organization, your email address, the description of your decision, of the resources being considered and of the information available, and your deadline.

As with any website, the hosting servers also record technical connection data, such as IP address and browser type, for security and proper operation.

Use

Your information is used only to respond to your request, to assess whether a decision diagnostic can be useful to you and, if an engagement is agreed, to carry it out. It is never sold, rented or used for solicitation.

Confidentiality of your situation

The description of a decision often contains strategic information. It is treated confidentially and is not disclosed to anyone, except the technical providers needed to operate the site and email, described below, or where required by law.

Technical providers

• Cloudflare hosts the site and provides its security.
• Google provides RD‑PREP's email. The site's typefaces are also loaded from Google's servers, which then receive your device's IP address.
• Web3Forms transmits requests sent through the form, when direct sending is enabled.

These providers may process data outside Canada, including in the United States. That data may then be accessible to the authorities of those countries under their laws.

Retention

Your information is kept as long as necessary to handle your request and, where applicable, for the duration of the engagement and the related legal obligations. It is then deleted.

Your rights

You may request access to your information, its correction or its deletion, and withdraw your consent, by writing to contact@rd-prep.ca. If you are not satisfied with the response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Security

Exchanges with the site are encrypted (HTTPS).

Access to the email and hosting accounts is protected by two-factor authentication.

Changes

This policy may be updated. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
